Effective Friday, September 1, 2006, CME^® will list two additional live cattle futures months for trading.  Specifically, when the August 2006 contract expires on August 31, 2006, in addition to listing the October 2007 (normal 7^th listing) contract, CME will list the December 2007 (new 8^th listing) and February 2008 (new 9^th listing) contracts.  This will bring the number of listed contracts from seven to nine “even” months (February, April, June, August, October and December).

This change applies to both Trading Floor (“LC”) and CME^® Globex^® (“LE”) contract listings.
